Arabian Oud Woody Intense Review

The quality of the juice is without a doubt top notch, I would go as far as calling it niche quality. The initial blast opens up with that Funky Oud , the Oud used in this smells quite natural and dry which quickly gives way to this beautiful sparkling Pink rose “Taif Rose” note that encompasses a slight herbal menthol kind of a vibe which could be from either the rose or the woods used.

The opening and during the drying down process of this perfume is unmistakably Arabic in all its traditional glory it’s Oud,rose and Smokey, but there is something about this fragrance at least to my senses smells rich and well balanced in its composition. Coming back to the dry down phase two hours into the initial wearing the fragrance takes a turn towards more of a classic western fragrance composition which is deep musky woody with a hint of that rose at which point it’s more masculine than a feminine scent I think this is due of the base note of patchouli coming through. Projection: although dense and rich in its Fragrance profile the projection is around 3 to 4ft maximum which is good in away that doesn’t offend anyone in close quarters.

Sillage: this is one of the areas where the Fragrance shines through and through as it leaves behind a very pleasant scent trail.

Performance: could easily fire through a day and then have more for the next too.

Like me if you have a nose for the orientals this is a must try and also this could be a great introductory fragrance to the wonderful world of ouds.
